A crispy and savory Filipino snack made from fried pork rinds, perfect for dipping in vinegar!

Ingredients

  • -2 lbs pork skin
  • -1 tbsp salt
  • -1 tsp ground black pepper
  • -Water (for boiling)
  • -Cooking oil (for frying)
  • -Vinegar and chili (for dipping, optional)

Instructions

  1. -Scrape off any excess fat from the pork skin and clean it thoroughly.
  2. -Boil the pork skin in water with salt for 45 minutes or until tender.
  3. -Drain the pork skin and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
  4. -Let the pieces air dry or place them in the refrigerator overnight until completely dry.
  5. -Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the pork skin until crispy and golden brown.
  6. -Drain excess oil on paper towels and sprinkle with ground black pepper.
