Ingredients

  • -3 cups all-purpose flour
  • -1/2 cup sugar
  • -1/4 cup butter, softened
  • -1 tsp salt
  • -2 tsp instant yeast
  • -1/2 cup warm milk
  • -3 egg yolks
  • -Grated cheese (for topping)
  • -Butter and sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. -In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. -Add egg yolks, softened butter, and salt. Mix well.
  3. -Gradually add flour and knead until dough is smooth and elastic.
  4. -Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. -Divide the dough into portions, shape into rolls, and place on a greased tray.
  6. -Let the rolls rise again for 30 minutes.
  7. -Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. -Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with sugar, and top with grated cheese.
